LEADS is an evidence-based leadership capabilities framework representing an innovative and integrated investment in the future of health leadership in Canada. These publicly offered workshops of the LEADS Learning Series, facilitated by Nadine Whelan, a certified LEADS facilitator, is being offered in collaboration with St. Joseph’s Care Group, the Canadian College of Health Leaders and LEADS Canada.

Are you thinking about earning your CHE or want to enhance your leadership skills?
Completion of a LEADS Learning Series provides the groundwork of leader skill learning. It also provides the opportunity for increased awareness of LEADS throughout organizations and community partners, contributing to the shifting of leadership conversations culture throughout the health system.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will:

Have clarity regarding their own leadership style and areas of growth and opportunity;
Enhance their capacity to tackle the complex challenges facing their organization;
Determine practical applications of leadership knowledge and skills in effective decision-making processes;
Determine ways to create, manage organizational changes; and more.
COST: $2,450 plus HST

The cost includes:

  • Registration for all five (5) LEADS Learning Series Workshops;

  • Certificate of completion (The LEADS Learning Series is a prerequisite for completing your Certified Health Executive Certification (CHE) Select, LEADS Internal Facilitator or LEADS Coach certification);

  • A copy of the LEADS booklet (textbook);

  • A copy of Bringing Leadership to Life in Health: LEADS in a Caring Environment, book by Graham Dickson & Bill Tholl;

  • Individual domain workbooks; and

  • Full day workshops with nutrition breaks and lunch.

Are you a CCHL Certified Health Executive (CHE) Select candidate?
Qualify for a $175 discount when you register with your candidate ID number.


You will be required to enter your CHE Candidate ID number (as a coupon code) in order to register at the discounted price. The LEADS Internal Certification Program

The LEADS Internal Facilitator certification (IFC) program equips candidates within community healthcare agencies, hospitals, health authorities, and regions across Canada with the skills and knowledge to deliver LEADS workshops internally, using the LEADS framework as the foundation.
