The Canadian College of Health Leaders

The Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) is a national, member-driven, non-profit association dedicated to ensuring that healthcare organizations of any size across Canada are equipped with the most capable, competent, and effective leadership possible to provide the best care and services to their patients, clients, and families. CCHLcelebrates its 50th anniversary and its nearly 25 employees, based in mainly Ottawa, but spread across the country, are enthusiastic to see CCHL continue to grow.   With 20 chapters across the country, the College represents 3 900 (and growing) individual leaders and corporate members.

LEADS Canada

Working within the Canadian College of Health Leaders, LEADS Canada was established in 2012 and partners with health organizations, health authorities, professional associations, universities, and municipal and provincial governments to provide co-created leadership development programs based on the LEADS in a Caring Environment (LEADS) capability framework. LEADS Canada is currently providing LEADS-based leadership development services in all provinces across Canada, each tailored to the nuances of their respective environmental context.

LEADS Canada is a leading provider of healthcare leadership development in Canada and the the sole-source provider of LEADS-based leadership development services. Our passion for increasing leadership capacity in healthcare organizations has included involvement with large public-sector organizations. Our services are customizable, both in delivery format and content, and are based on empirical evidence  and best-practice. We offer a variety of development programs, coaching, and resources for leaders at all levels, from senior executives, to emerging leaders, to non-positional leaders, all of which produce consistently outstanding results.  

Foundational services offered through LEADS Canada include face-to-face or virtual customized workshops, 360 assessments and debriefings, team assessments and coaching, organizational diagnostic assessments, self-assessments, certification programs, semi-structured self-directed web-based learning opportunities, webinars, and an on-line Community for Practice.

LEADS Canada works with certified LEADS Canada Facilitators and certified LEADS Coaches to design and deliver LEADS-based leadership development services.
